Guess those who dares to dream big does get rewarded!
Congratulation to Kelvin again... Hope its a new beginning for many better tomorrows for you. Same goes to all those who had made their name through this glamorous event!
What I got from this event... If opportunity comes your way, it comes it all shapes and sizes. Learn to spot them and grab everyone of them... You never know, you may be the next Superstar!
I hope I learn to spot my opportunities too...
Whether it comes to work, relationship, friends, personal up-grading etc...
Wednesday,
Attended the plague presentation at my ship function at Sentosa Palawang beach.
The beach is lovely, the sands, the sun and the sea... Breezy and hot and humid afternoon.
When I arrive there ard 4pm... scatters around the beach are couples enjoying the sunny afternoon in the cool water in each other embraces. On a weekday, wow.. am I surprised?
Well my ship mates were enjoying a game of beach soccer and some other games.
In the midst of everything, James(not my batch boy) came up from nowhere from behind me pouring a bucketful of sea water over me... Guess I had some enemies around that I wasn't aware of... Not too popular...
And guess what lame excuse he had for doing that," Everyone was wet... and I just can't stand people that are dry around... No offense by the way..."
Being a good sport, I just smile and say," No problem, I understand..."
WHAT A HYPROCRITE...
Back in my heart I may well have walked up behind him with a bucketful of urine... and... you imagine the rest... and say "No offense, OK!"
An Eye for an Eye, A Teeth for a Teeth...
Haha... people might think. Hey relax lah... where is your sense of humor?
Well... when the rest of the guys have extra clothing to change being informed of the "special programme" and you aren't... I was there drenched thoughout the evening until I got home...
Give me some room to pat my own shoulder and do the "pity party" thing ok...
Friday,
Bernard invited me to see this movie "Herbie loaded" company sponsored. Gotta catch up with another primary school friend- Kaiyi. I haven't seen Kaiyi for like 13-14 years. Cool... He seems to be doing quite well, self employed. Told me he's going to open a cafe at Neil Road...
The movie is not bad, the star actor is actually a cute beetle car... with a sensitive touch...
Saturday,
Chee Sern and I caught the "One more chance" by jack neo. Pretty touching... And hilarious esp the cockle song...
Would you tie the yellow ribbon round the old oak tree? I wouldn't cast the first stone if u ask me...
