Recently got myself this box set of Chinese serials- Condor Heros.
Think Richardson will love it- as he often fantasize himself as the One Arm Bandit Hero in the story.
But most importantly, this serial really follow the original story closely writen by Jing Yong- Unlike the version made in singapore.
It really transport me into the world of the friction that I read a decade ago- the book literally comes alive before my very eyes. To those fellow Jing Yong fans, this is a must see!
What really reaches the cords of my heart is that undying love display by Yang Guo toward Xiao Long Nui, his mentor, friend and spouse. Despite the fact that Xiao Long Nui is like a fairy from heaven with beauty that can smitten any mortal. Yang Guo show the resilence that on the contrary any general fellow guys would have just given up after 16 years, especially if you are surrounded by hot babes taking number to be with you.
Here's the question that I ponder, if that one day if I will meet the girl that I can lay my life down for. Whom will assume the very essense of the reason for my time here in this humble earth. If love can be that deep and true?
