Interesting Perspective... from a "WTF photo ablum"

Recently got to know a new friend who did a very nice job in writing blog... Thus, was inspired to continue contributing a little more thoughts/interesting life perspective here in my humble little space on the blogosphere.

On top is a picture I transported from my friend's facebook ablum named "WTF album". I think its a very interesting picture. What do you think of it? What's the story here? What do you make of the relationship between the three persons?

A lot times, being able to see the big picture means a bigger perspective. Its important when one is in a leadership position to have a birds eye view of the overall situation, to make the right decisions. And in this case we got the bigger picture here. In chinese we have a saying,"the bystander has a clearer view, while the persons involved are clueless."

So what's so interesting about this picture that I want to post it here?

What I want to point out here is a conclusion after reflecting on myself. An interesting observation about human perspective over things. We tend to draw from our past experience, books we read, movies we watched and easily jump right into conclusion of the situation from what we see.

Most of us(including myself) would think like that when we see the picture:"Aiyo, poor chap in the middle. Still don't know "wtf" is happening..." right? or "Wah lau, like that also can ah..." Basically we are thinking about a triangular relationship happening here and have thoughts about friendship betrayal etc...

If you make the same assumptions as I did. Let me invite you to make a paradigm shift here with me... Let's say I add this caption in bold over the picture:"Not forgetting your Friend(s) after you found your Lover." The whole story now have change. Now you feel that the world is beautiful again. Right? How often when our friends found the love of their life and their life starts to revolve only around themselves? Not even a needle can come between them. You no longer get calls or see them anymore until the day the wedding invitation comes...

Ofcourse, the two different perspective are just two different assumptions made here. Nobody other than the persons in the picture know what's really the truth. I am only using it as an example to illustrate an interesting way our mind works. That's all. Let me end with a fun chinese mtv clip I have imported that's related to the second perspective.
