Wonderful Wednesday

Wonderful Wednesday...
26 May 2010

Its a lovely day... Its been almost two years since I had a decent meet up with Alice. Not counting one time I bumped into her at Raffles in a serendipity way.

Manage to have a nice lunch with her at the Nolboo Hangari Galbi (Orchard Central). Found this place from the "hungry go where" webby that gives quite a decent rating for this place. Must thank my friend Richardson for introducing me this nice webby to find great place to makan. :)

The lunchtime crowd here is still ok... much less crowded than I expected. Which is quite pleasant as it is not too noisy and more conducive for catching up with friends. The food here is very nice. A generous serving of kimchi, great for the kimchi lovers. We had a BBQ marinated Beef as recommended by the server. Its really good. The meat is very tender and soft, taste like satay but definitely more satisfying in terms of the cutting than what you can get from a satay.

After lunch, we went to Blue Mountain Cafe (Somerset 313). She ordered a Macchiato "double shot" O.O , while I ordered a Mocha Almond blom. Wow, if you witness what a little cup of coffee can do its worth all the trouble in the world to get it for her... I would give anything to see her that happy. :) Btw, coffee was on her... hehe ^^

The purpose of this meeting up is to catch up and also to take back a set of books by Paulo Coelho I borrowed her. Though I did not pass any new books to her this round. I agree that this is a good tactic to secure future meeting up. But I find that it put her in much obligation and quite manipulative when use everytime. As I am pushing my social dynamic to a higher level, a girl should want to meet me up because that I show her a good time. Rather than I becoming that "Mobile Library" hehe.

So, no more "books on demand" service. haha, just kidding. I will still share my books with people lah, as I spend good money on them but often we don't read it more than twice. Sharing is Caring.

Later in the evening, went to airport with mum to pick up my younger sister. She's back from vacation in Taiwan. She gave me the sticker(image attached on top). I should say its pretty inspiring. And on top of that a nice T-shirt. (images below) What a great day!

Nice nice right... ^^
