Yesterday, we had a long overdue class reunion...
Two decades had passed by knowingly unknowingly.
Its like doing your spring cleaning one fine day and found at the corner of the storehouse - a dusty photo album. Brushing and blowing the dust off from the cover. A musty aroma and nostalgic feeling washes over your senses as you turn from page after page of yellowed photographs. Those were the good ole days when you were not as burdened with life. The days of innocent carefree.
Childhood friends coming together after so many years. We have all grown up and some even with kids running about. However different we had become, seeing each other the first time after so many years. For some reason, we somehow still can recognize that shadow of the kid that we used to play and joust and study together. The connection is instantaneous. All the memories started to flood back... Surprisingly, some of us can still recall each others class numbers, birthdays, who sat beside who etc.
We were all determined to find back the lost sheeps as not all can be found or make it to this gathering. :)
Friends can be friends forever indeed. Going forward, hopefully we will keep this spark on-going and not wait for another 20 years anniversary shall we? (We do not have much "twenty-years" left) haha
