Vacation in planning...

The holidays lined up provides a good rest indeed!

Great time to catch up with friends and sleep... Zzzzzz
Can say its a long awaited holiday since National day(doing duty).

Yesterday, Alvin and gang, we sit down and start a skeleton plan for the Hong Kong trip(long awaited vacation) for end of the year.

Though nothing was concrete. Its a good start. Sometimes its quite problematic to go with too big a group. There's lots of issues to settle, some want good flight, some want good hotel, some want to eat this, some want to eat that, some want to go here, some want to go there...

As for me, think hotel is more important than flight and good food is a MUST.

But its my first time there so shan't complain too much. Get the experience first, next time got chance go again! ;-)

Well at least I got my primary objective thought out:-
1) Countdown Party there.
2) Winter Swim (wonder if its better than slurpee!)
3) Lao Po Bing!
4) Maybe shop for some nice clothes for CNY.
5) Most importantly is to have FUN.

Keep my list short and my head light, get there then say!
Maybe take some nice pictures to decorate my blog (which is getting duller by the looks each day)...

1. Countdown Party, you have to head to Lan Kwai Fong at Central, at the foot of the Victoria Peak.

2. Winter Swim? Unless you are heading to Ocean Park, or using the hotel's Pool. I doubt u will get a good swim there.

3. Lao Po Bing.....might as well u get a Lao Po also....hmm...I never like that cookie anyway.

4. Shop for nice CNY Clothes. Erm..it's the wrong season to be there for clothes for singapore's weather....they are all having sales and selling Winter clothes, too warm for Singapore.

5. yes...have fun. Head over to Stanley Market...Victoria Peak and all...Times Square...Ocean Park and MickeyMouse Land..

but dress warm....night temperature can fall greatly..or the wind might change from day to day.

I was at Stanley when the temperature plunged from a cool 23 to a freezing 9 degrees on top of a strong chilly wind.

Take good care and have fun. You might want to talk to Hilda before going.....or can ask me...:P

My reservist ended on 18 November. It's really a holiday camp. Work 1 hour, rest 1 or 2 hours. This kinda work where to find? Some more it's inside an air-con place. No need to charge up any hill.
