Its more fun to read other people blog than to write my own...
My life doesn't seem to be as happening I guess. No point blogging for the sake of blogging.
Watched the movie "Fun with Dick and Jane" a couple of weeks back.
Its a comedy of a tragedy.
Jim Carey did not disappoint. It may not be as funny as "Bruce Almighty".
But the magic is still there.
This picture shows a more down to earth and real aspect of life. Where one day you may be holding the world in your hands and standing on the pinacle of your career and the next day you plummeted right back to square one or even negative.
A facet of what the young couples in singapore is facing is reflected here as well. When we start our small little romantic kingdom, most of the young couples are both working. And the kid(s) will follow the maid, end of the day the kid will behave and talk like the maid. Chinese got a saying," Near to the ink you become black and near to the dye you become red." We may laugh now but when its happening to our kids its not that funny anymore.
And due to increase of unemployment, crimes will also increase.
Its inevitable.
I do really enjoy this movie... looking at some global problems in the light of comedy.
