Congo Bongo... Night Safari.

It time for the family! My company's Family day! A day to let your hair down...

Night Safari!

Almost get to work overtime some more, good thing manage to finish everything on time...

Meet up with Mr Phang and his wife at the Plaza for dinner and took a cab down.

We RV Kenneth with his gf and his kid outside the entrance.

The place does have the africa ambience... With the torches lit up everywhere. Its my first visit to the place, Sua Ku(mountain tortise) huh? Anyway, the main point is its FREE!

Start of day.... correction night. Is a lame animal show, where you see that animal can be train to pick up rubbish, detect grape shop lifter. I wonder if its a secret project, one day to take over the cleaners and the shopping centre security gurard's jobs? At least the animal won't ask for so much pay and benifits.

Its a releve for them to leave the Zoo and better career prospect also. Where they are more deprived- imagine they used to work from 8 to 5 everyday until the night safari came along... Now they have to work overtime! The disadvantages of not having a union to fight for you!

Well so much for the lame show, quite enjoyable for the kids lah I must agree. Guess I am too old for this kind of things...

Its quite a nice experience taking the tram at the cool of the night rambling through the "jungle" peeping at the animals in thier "natural habitat". Sometimes we do wonder what our neighbours doing next door *wink* haha... But for the sake of their privacy and ours too, we shall keep on the imaginations. But here do offers you indeed a chance to observe the animals up close but not too personal range- no more wild thoughts! Hey, they were our neighbours and foods once upon a time!

Expected lotsa mosquito bites but surprising no lor. Guess the spiders and the frogs are doing a great job/feast! Quite a lot of spiders mind you, tall boy(kenneth) has to be extra carefull when strolling along the trails. If not he may have destroy some lovely homes of those fury spiders...

After a long tour of the safari... We refresh ourself with a smoothies form Ben and Jerry.

And I begin my dreary ride on the SBS bus home, almost missed tha last bus!
