Mothers' Day Celebration...

Its the time of the year again to show appreciation for our dear Mommies. =)

Words can never describe one's deepest feeling for the love for the mother. She's the one that bring us into this wonderful world... Taking care of every step of our life... Allowing us to learn from our falls, but lovingly guide us back... Nurturing us in every possible ways.

As a man, I must admit that I am not the most expressive in showing my love for my mum... I don't hug and kiss her as I used to when I was a kid. I don't miss her if I did not see her physically around me all the time like when I was little. Have the child and mother relationship deteriorates over time? Have the affections dwindles?

Nope, I must say that the bond is always strong. Its just that I have become more independent and I have learned to walk on my own... I show my love and affections for her in more subtle ways. We spend time to chat often and whenever possible I will do some of the little house chores to lighten her burden.

The job of a mother is 100% 247. It even surpass my job in the Navy when we always say we are 247, but there are times when we knock off and stop worrying of what is happening in the office. But mother will not have that kind of luxury, more especially when we were younger. But you will never find a day when your mother stops worrying for you and well you know her way of showing it is her NAGGING... ^^

Yesterday, Mothers' day. We did not plan anything very fancy. But we bring mum to a nice restaurant for dinner. Fish N Co. @ airport terminal 2. We ordered the usual stuff- fish and chips, seafood platter etc. And went home filled and satisfied with a big smile on our faces. You may think that, aiyah nothing much what like that. Well, mum knows that we appreciate her and the message is being sent across. In my humble opinion, that's what that really really matters.
